Honey Mustard Dressing can be used for salads or as a dipping sauce for chicken strips or nuggets. You can use plain or stone ground Dijon mustard.
This honey mustard dressing can be used for Fried Chicken Salad or as a dipping sauce for chicken like Ultimate Chicken Fingers or Oven Fried Honey Balsamic Chicken Nuggets.
I have the recipe written as about 6 servings of 2 tablespoons each. You may find you use more or less than that depending on whether you're using it as a dressing or a dipping sauce. You can scale the recipe up very easily.
Ingredients
- Mayonnaise
- Honey
- Dijon mustard
Variations
You can use regular or stone ground Dijon mustard. You can also use plain yellow mustard if you prefer that.
I sometimes add a pinch of cayenne if I'm using yellow mustard to give it a similar kick that you get with Dijon.
Prepare the Dressing
To make, simply whisk together the ingredients in a small bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. I prefer to serve the dressing chilled, but it is perfectly fine to serve it immediately after making it.
Storage
Store leftover dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
