With just two ingredients, this Easy Fruit Dip is simple to make, but I provide tips to make it smooth and creamy! Serve this dip with fresh fruit.

We have been making this fruit dip in our family for years. We serve it at parties with fresh fruit. I particularly like it with strawberries and bananas.
When I host birthday parties for my daughters, they often request this dip, especially my middle daughter.

We had it at her Wizard of Oz Birthday Party and most recently at her Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party.

Make the Dip
Although this dip only contains two ingredients, the method of making it can determine whether your dip is smooth and creamy or sticky and lumpy.
The two keys to making this a smooth dip are to start with room temperature cream cheese and to beat the cream cheese in the mixer alone to start.
I recommend placing the cream cheese alone in a bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk or paddle attachment and beating it on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Then, add the marshmallow creme and continue beating until the dip is silky smooth.
Transfer the dip to an airtight container and refrigerate until serving.
Serving Suggestions
I recommend making the dip at least a few hours before serving. I usually make it the day before because I like it to be cold.
Place the dip in a bowl or the center of a divided serving platter. Arrange fresh fruit around the dip.

You can arrange the fruit on the platter ahead of time and refrigerate it until serving, but I recommend cutting the bananas right before serving or they will brown. You can toss sliced bananas in a little lemon or pineapple juice to prevent browning if you want.
You may want to serve the fruit with toothpicks on the side to make it easier to dip and eat.
Gluten Free Option
