Harry & David Pepper & Onion Relish Dip is a classic that our family has been enjoying for many years. With 2 ingredients, it couldn't be simpler to make but is always a hit at parties!

I don't know about you, but our family has gone through phases with recipes where it seems like we make something on repeat, and then, for whatever reason, we stop. Perhaps in taking a break from having something so many times in a row, like these Baked Hawaiian Sandwiches, we forget and move onto something else.
Many years ago when we first discovered Harry & David Dip, it seemed like it made an appearance at every party, but then it was gone. It had been so long since we had it. My girls had never had this dip; that's how long it had been!
When I saw a jar of the Pepper & Onion Relish at the store, I immediately placed it in my cart. I made the dip for a Memorial Day party, and it went fast! My girls immediately started asking me to make it again!
Beat the Cream Cheese
The most important step when making this dip is to start with softened cream cheese. If the cream cheese is still cold, it won't blend with the relish, and there will be clumps of cream cheese in the dip.
You can mix the dip by hand, but I prefer to use my stand mixer to ensure the ingredients are well blended.
I use my scraper paddle attachment to make the cream cheese extra smooth.

The first step is to beat the cream cheese alone until it's creamy and no clumps remain.
Add the Relish
Next, you'll add the entire jar of Harry & David Pepper & Onion Relish to the cream cheese.

Continue to mix in the mixer until the dip is fully combined.

Chill the Dip
This dip is best served cold, so I recommend transferring the dip to an airtight container and placing in the refrigerator to thicken and blend the flavors.
We like to serve this dip with tortilla chips, but it would be good with veggies or crackers too.
Gluten Free Option
This dip is naturally gluten free.
