Strawberry Tea Punch is perfect for a tea party for kids in the summer or around the holidays or Valentine's Day due to its vibrant red color.
I first made this Strawberry Tea Punch for a summer tea party for my kids and nephews. The recipe is from The Kitchen Is My Playground.
I love how it looks with the lemon and strawberry slices floating on top.
I used decaffeinated black tea because I was serving it to toddlers. Any kind of tea you prefer will work.
Adjusting the Sweetness
This punch is not super sweet because of the amount of tea. I prefer my tea less sweet, so this was great for me. Some guests may want it to be sweeter, so rather than make the entire punch sweeter, I like to serve passed sugar for guests to add if they choose.
Another fun option for kids is to serve sugar cubes.
Make Ahead Option
To make ahead, brew the tea and add the other ingredients except for the ginger ale. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Then add the ginger ale, sliced strawberries and lemon slices.
