Fried Chicken Salad has fresh tomatoes, red onion, hardboiled eggs, and crouton on a bed of romaine lettuce. It is served with a homemade honey mustard dressing.
My mom has been making this Fried Chicken Salad for years. She serves it with a homemade honey mustard dressing that is so delicious.
It seems like such a simple meal, but it's become a favorite in our house. My girls even ask me to make it!
You can use any breaded chicken strips that you like: store bought or homemade.
Some of my favorite chicken strips recipes are Ultimate Chicken Fingers and Oven Fried Honey Balsamic Chicken Nuggets. That recipe is for chicken nuggets, but you can follow the same recipe and just cut the chicken into strips instead.
You can customize the salad with your favorite toppings. We like to use hardboiled eggs, tomatoes, red onion, and croutons. Sometimes we add cheese as well.
