Harry Potter Firebolt Broom Candies represent Harry's high-performance broomstick. They could also be labeled Nimbus 2000s or witches brooms for Halloween. A no bake recipe with just 2 ingredients, they are a simple way to add decor to a dessert table.

For my daughter's Harry Potter Birthday Party, I made a lot of different themed treats. One of my favorite ways to add variety to a dessert table is to include some super easy treats that are semi-homemade with store bought ingredients, like these Easy Chocolate Wizard Hat Cookies.

I saw this idea on Pinterest labeled as Nimbus 2000 and thought they were adorable. My daughter wanted these to be "Firebolts" because they are the fastest broomsticks and the model that Harry Potter was gifted.

Because these candies are made to look like broomsticks, they would also be cute for Halloween or a Wicked Birthday Party.
Supplies

Assemble the Firebolts
There are different versions of brooms involving chocolate covered pretzel sticks. I really liked the look of Pocky sticks since they are thinner and completely coated in chocolate that matches the coating on the Reese's peanut butter cups.
First, unwrap the peanut butter cups and place them on a surface with the wider side on the bottom.

Then, break the uncoated cookie end of the Pocky stick off. Otherwise, when the stick is inserted into the peanut butter cup, you will still see some of the plain cookie stick.

Carefully slide the broken end of the pocky stick into the center of the peanut butter cup to create a broom. Repeat with all of the remaining peanut butter cups.

Storage
Store the assembled firebolts in an airtight container at room temperature until serving.
Gluten Free Option
Pocky sticks are not gluten free. You dip gluten free pretzel sticks in melted chocolate, allow the chocolate to set completely, and then place the pretzels into the peanut butter cups.
