This adorable spider web design can be used to decorate a Pumpkin Chocolate Tart or any round cake. It turns an ordinary tart or cake into a cute Halloween themed dessert!

It is so easy to make. Simply melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler or in the microwave on low heat.

Place the melted chocolate in a pastry bag with a #2 tip or in a resealable bag with a small corner cut off.

Pipe long lines across the entire tart, like you would slice a pizza. Then pipe the curved lines to connect the long lines.

To make a spider, pipe a quarter-sized circle of chocolate and then pipe 4 legs on each side of the body, for a total of 8 legs.

Allow the chocolate design to cool and set, then refrigerate the tart or cake until ready to serve.
