Pour in the beer. Mix with a spatula until all of the flour has been incorporated.

Transfer the batter to a greased loaf pan.
Bake the loaf for 25 minutes. Drizzle melted butter on top and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes.
Remove the pan and allow to cool for 10 minutes before unmolding the loaf and allow to cool further.
Slice and serve.
Notes
You may use 3 cups of self-rising flour in place of the all purpose flour, baking powder and salt.Some recipes for beer bread have more sugar.
